L270 Chocolate Zebs

I am really starting to get back in to my plecs, currently have 1 Bulldog, 1 female L052 and 6 Super red Bn juvis. Anyway i am loving the L270s, what size tank do they require?

Can't find much on them except they get to roughly 5" and prefer a slightly meatier diet

It`s not recommended to keep a mix of plecs together in one tank, the L270 should be kept singularly or in a species only tank.

I have 1 L191 Pleco, 1 L134 Pleco and 1 L128 Pleco together and get along fine.

currently they are all in seperate tanks, these would probably end up in with the L052, she's a gentle thing when she comes out

I wasn`t on about aggression and whether or not they get on I was referring to cross breeding, sorry I should have made that clear

Probably won't happen but wow imagine if it did....

never even thought about cross breeding can't imagine it happens often/if at all as many people keep a variety of plecos

surely if i was to have 3 L270s they'd rather breed between themselves than with another type

'Apparently' hybridization between the hypancistrus species can and does happen and I think that many people are just ignorant to it happening or even being a concern at all.
It`d be a shame to risk such lovely plecs becoming hybridized so I personally would keep plecs such as the zebras, phantoms, queen arabesquest etc either species only or on their own, but that`s just my own personal feelings

I think with bristlenose plecs it`s a much different and more common story though

It`d be worth money for the markings and size but not for the fact it`s a hybrid

would a trio be ok in a 3ft?
