L255 Spotted Medusa's

I am sooooooo jealous. I have one non-spotted femal ancistrus ranunculus and am still looking for a male. I would kill for a pair of the spotted variation.

Treat them just like any other bristlenose with a roomy tank containing wood & plants, strong filtration and a good currant.

Feed them sinking wafers, pellets, bloodworm and the occasional chopped shrimp.

If indenting to breed, they will need a cave or tube in which to spawn.

hehe - couldn't resist sneeking a few quick pics of one of the new arrivals !
Ps: they will eventually be moved to a sand substrate breeding tank, but for several reasons (after consultation with the the previous owner) they could not go straight in there.

Awsome! They are very beatiful fish! That last guy looks like he has a bit of a ripped up tale! Or is it the pic?

Thanks. Nope it's the pic :) once they've settled I will take some more pics. I thought they were shy, but within a matter of hours I've seen them peek out quite a few times. So far so good...... :D
