Alrighty,

Here are pictures of my new spotted medusa's which arrived to me on Tuesday via mail order. They are both doing really well, and are even socialising which is a bit of a shocker as their profile states thease plecos are really shy!

This was taken from on the Tuesday when they arrived-

I have a male & female, with the intention to hopefully get them to breed, I have named them Burty & Bo.

Burty is inside the slate cave I put together-

Once the have settled into their caves and they feel secure and at home, they will indeed be very elusive and you will hardly see them. I see you do have some slate and open pots, but it's highly unlikely that they will breed in them. You might want to think about some low lying wood with crevasses underneath to hide. They will need much smaller "caves" (pipes etc. will do). If they are out and about and visible, they do not yet feel at home and settled - but seeing as those pics were taken on the day they arrived, it's normal. It usually takes a few days to settle in :)

Enjoy them !
