hi there we have two females that are from our breeding group

was thinking of selling them how much wlld we get for them size is 3-4 ins ish not to good with sizes i am a male lol

at the moment we have put them in with our normal bristlenose plec

plus when the L183 starlights how much cld we sale the fry for may not post them as not done posting fish before thinking head of our selfs here i think

hope this all make since to u all

ill try to take some of them when the females are out of hidding

when we brought as ancistrus xenocara then they told me they are L183 starlights bristlenose
hope this helps

L183s are white seam bristlenoses not starlights ,
if they dont have the white bands on the end of there dorsal and tail fin they are not 183s

thats wot i mean heres the email with wot the seller sed to me

from seller below

(they are ok with commons, you will still get the 183 strain just not as strong, but imagine they will look good, if you have a spare 182 male put it in with the 2 fems, they will always breed together rather than cross breed i dont know how it works but they just seem to know. a friend of mine does have a male and female he maybe interested in selling if you are interested that is i am sure i could get a good price for you, but if you do breed them with common they will be known as 183 becuase the stronger strain always takes preference, i am sure you know this anyway, many thanks )

we didnt know that they where L183 intill we get them thru the post this morning brought the breeding group and brought the two females but when we got them we notice that they all had bristles so i emailed them asking if they where 182 or some thing else but they where not in full color as they have been posted to us my L182 look like 182 now after couple wks ago

the females are now in with my common bristlenose got no more room for them in any tanks as we have 5 tanks set up now and the wife is moaning abt it (but i like my fish better then drinking thats wot i say to her)

well if theye are white seemed BN's even tho i thought they were both the same 183 & whiteseamed but others are more expereinced so id agree with them... then i paid £12 for an adult proven breeder ( thanx windy :) he's gorgeous by the way) so id say they were around this sort of price m8 if they are white seamed BN's and definate females i may be interested if ur willing 2 sell ...well if u post that is :) really need some pics for definate id tho m8ee :)

183 and 182 will not breed together nor with common b/ns
that guys talking though his butt
183s grow to 5inches
182 grow to 9inches
183s will not be ok with common b/ns as they fight all the time

we have the 183 on there own tank and the L182 have there own tank

we thought we was buying normal bristlenose but found out when we got them that they where 183's

we brought the two females from them first then got offered the group of them the perents so we brought them two they did say that if we was going to breed them they could go together becuase of cross breeding i sed no brought the two females to go in with my other normal bristlenose

so now wot we have done is we put the group (L183) in the shrimp tank thats all in that tank
and the other two females have gone in my other tank with the normal ones
the L182 have there own tank aswell
hope u understand wot i have sed and hope this helps !!!!!!

can i ask where you got them from as i am also after some L183's, do you have any pictures of them?
