L168 - About To Get One

got my new tank up and running and I have been cycling w/ already matured media. I am about to add my first of four plecs. The L168, does anyone own one of these? all i know is what is on planet catfish, but if there is anything else i should know i would appreciate it.

I own one - beautiful fish. Not much more to say other than what you've read on PC except that in my experience it poops more than any other pleco I own or have owned in the past.

One thing I would say is that it's probably the least timid of the peckolitas, which in my experience tend to be rather shy (and before anyone tells me it's not a peckolita anymore, as it's been re-classified, I know but it's very similar to them in many respects).
My one is often out with the lights on and will only dart for cover if one of the kids runs past the front of the tank

Beautiful fish, I have found very shy though, Mine just died and am going to buy 1 at the weekend. IME quite hard to feed... or at least I never saw it eat other than algae and bogwood.

sounds good to me, he should have more than enough hiding spaces w/ all my bogwood & i am pretty good about adding enough zuchinni to entice him out if he is on the shy side. thanks for the advice!
