hey guys, someone is selling a L142 pleco near me for $30.00, im really thinking about it. but need to know some things. i cant find a profile anywhere on them. how big do they get? any special requirements? i know they eat plants but know absolutely nothing else about the L142.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

They get upto about 6".

They need lots of hiding places, and will at most veggies and algae wafers. Gl.

L142's thats the same as an LDA33 - Big white spot plec

Should get to about 10" - but are very slow growing.

Ours (spot) is about 4" at the moment and compared to adult pictures he still looks like a juvenile

man thats a bummer, i don't have room for a 10" pleco.
oh well, il just have to get some more rubber-lipped then. even though i get to see it once a month.
