if i were to breed L102 how much do you reckon i should sell the fry for once they are a decent size? I would be looking to sell on to a local fish store.

I have not got any yet but i am looking at maybe breeding them in the future.

Hard to say, bearing in mind that a LFS will have to make a margin on them, perhaps 10-20 quid?

You'll be lucky to get £10 from as store (if the store will infact take them)... privately these only sell for £10-£15

cheers guys, what i did forget to mention is that my lfs already sell them for £45 but they are at least 3" i would say. But they only ever have one or two if any at all

Samll spawns and slow growth means making money off Hypan breeding is difficult from what I understand.

Breeding bristlenoses will be more profitable if that is the ultimate aim.

its not so much about profit but more about the achievement, although i don't want the lfs to profit too much from my hard work or fishes hard work. I will be keeping one or two myself
