I found this little gem on my trip to Wildwoods today (OMG what a shop  I had to severely restrain myself. My eyes almost popped out of their sockets)!
Anyway....
The photos are actually not indicative of it's true colours at all. It obviously hasn't settled yet and feel at home hence the light stress colours.
In the shop it was practically pitch black with the really bright orange markings.

So I'll update this thread once I have some "true colour" photos.
(and sadly he split his tail in the bag on the way home - I'm sure that will heal up soon).

Wow - Once again... you've found a plec that has been on my 'would like to own' list for a long time :)

How much was he?

Looking forward to more piccys :)

Thanks :D he wasn't cheap and I know Wildwoods isn't the cheapest around either. But to be honest - I've just never seen once of these and how I spotted it I'm not sure, as only a tip of its fin was sticking out. But enough to want to see what was hiding !

So erm (not telling the other half!) but he was £50 (gulp). But I have a TFF (Tropical Fish Finder for those who might confuse it with this forum) discount card and got 10% off. Every little helps :good:

Wow Bloo, he is gorgeous! Another stunning pleccy for you! What a handsome chappie and well worth the £££'s IMO! You've got some really lovely plecs now!

I think they've got these guys in my LFS but I'm not sure. Got to go there this afternoon so will have a look. The colours look the same but I can't remember the L number. I hope I'm wrong and it's a different one cos he'll be another for our wish list until we can upgrade (again!) and have a plec only tank with some stunners like that.

£45 dosnt sound bad at all to me....

;)
Of course not - not to someone who pays more than twice the price on smaller zebs ;) lol
But it's definitely the most I've spent on a single fish so far.
