I got a L018 at the weekend. I read that they're fairly shy, very hard to aclimmatise and although they eat some algae they are not very good algae eaters and rarely eat off the glass.
Well since he's been home I can't get him to touch courgettes, peas, potatoe, cucumber, peppers, algae wafers... but he's permanently glued to the glass and has cleaned my whole tank of algae!!
He seems healthy, he has a rounded belly and is very active, he never hides away despite the fact that the tank is heavly planted and covered with bogwood and caves.
The thing is what do I do when the algae on the glass runs out? He just doesn't seem to show any interest in food. He's not shy at all so I put algae wafers literally next to his nose and he just swims around them.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
