L007 Vampire Plec

Hi all

All i wanted to say is that i bought a wild L007 Vampire plec at the weekend, and he's beautiful, really nice colours and he's always active. can anyone give me any info as to what size they grow to, do they get as big as a common plec? I will try to post a pic of him tomorrow for you all to see.

You can either resize them with a program like IRFRANVIEW or upload to a site like photobucket and post the imagine link ( ) supplied :)

At a guess i would say male beens its quite hairy but either way it is stunning .

You wont tell if its F0/wild caught m8 you would have to rely on the seller to be honest, as far as im aware i dont know anyone thats bred these so the chances it's wild caught are quite high

The lfs said that they buy all there plecs as wild caught as it makes them more hardy. he should of been £45 but they knocked £10 off as im always in there. does it sound about right? i know they can sometimes be a bit more expensive than other shops but the quality is good so i don't mind paying a bit more for a better quality of fish.

The £45 alone m8 is a good price so getting money off was just an added bonus

id say he is between 6-8inch, including tail fin, but im not that good at guessing. i got him for £35, they knocked me £10 off cause im always in there buying stuff lol

nice pleco i got one of these but never ever comes out with the light on grr but worth the odd look you get i'm hoping as he gets bigger will come out more is this the case? o btw kinda new to forums just checking its ok to post a question in someone elses thread ? if not sorry
