L Number Plecs

U can feed them algea wafers. Also u can give them slices of cucumber or zuccini.

It really depends whether it's mainly an omnivore, carnivore, algae/plant eating or wood eating. So you cannot generalise. Do research on the catfish you decide to go for and make sure that you know what it requires in it's diet.

Impossible question to answe without knowing what pleco is being discussed.

As bloo said there are different diet requrements for different fish, for example what is good for Hypancistrus (zebras, king tigers etc) will kill a Panaque (royals, clowns etc)

Did you have a specific species in mind?

Sorry guys for being so long getting back to you but the fish in question are (and forgive me if the spellings are not right)
L200 Green Plecuitemus and LDA33 Snowball Peckaltia any comments would be appreciated and so too would the right spellings. Thanks Guys.

L200 green phantom is actually 2 different fish Baryancistrus demantoides and Hemiancistrus subviridis the latter being the one more commonly seen in LFS. Snowball is Baryancistrus sp. (LDA33), not peckoltia.

All 3 are omnivores so need a varied diet. I have just noticed that you are in leeds mate, by any chance have you been to petcity just round the corner from the corn exchange recently?? Thats were most of my plecos came from, great shop for plecos.

Reason i ask is that Mick has both those sp. in at the moment and the 200's are the barys (the nicer ones imo and rarer) but i bought the nicest one lol

I second that emotion. :p I've not personally been myself, but Kathy has, and also Paws 4 Thought in Leeds, and she's picked me up plecs from there - and they're top notch :)
