I would like to put 2 or 3 in my tank. But would like to have some information first etc...

I have 2.5 ft tank leght X 16 lenght " X 1 ft deep

I also have 1 clown plec, rusty plec (To be sold) a humbug and 3 plattys...

When tank is complete it wil have...

6 plattys, 6 rummynose, 6 hasboras, 1 fighter fish, clown plec (Maybe humbug)

Plenty of plants and 3 different hiding spaces.Bog wood etc.

Would I be able to have the loachs in there... Also how big they get etc ?

Kulih loach are very small, they only get 3 to 3 1/2 inches, and they are very skinny,They would go fine with your other fish and as far as stocking goes I'd go ahead and count these guys as only 1/2 inch when working out your stocking as they are so small and low bioloadish. They like to be in groups, and you'd see alot more of them and they would be much happier if you got atleast 5-6 rather than 2-3.

The humbug would possible try to eat them. perfect size to slip on down!!! ;)

are they good at cleaning up as i would rather these then my boring/lazy humbug ?

My kuhlis are in the same size tank right now, I got 3 of em, they actually do clean but the cories clean the ground much better, kuhlis can easily get sliced on gravel and rocks, its best to use sand with these guys as well as most bottom dwellers that are soft bellied and burrowers, it saves them from being hurt and it also does not damage their barbells like gravel and rock does.

Pretty much everything has to be smooth to ensure the kuhlis no harm.
