Kuhli Loaches

hey guys I was thiking about gatting 2 Kuhli loaches for my 10 gallon tank I was wondering is that would be a good choich for my 10 I only have 1 felame platy at this time

Can't see any issue with getting kuhli loaches for your tank. But don't forget they are often invisible in the tank as they hide away when they're not having one of their swimming fits. Surely you want more visible fish action in there?

The Kuhli loaches over here are either plain chocolate brown or the more attractive orange and brown stripes. Is that the same type you get over there?

here in toronto the kuhlis r all black with yellow stripes, like the normal 1 and they r very beautiful!

kuhliis get more bold and active (during the day, there always out at night) the more of them there is. they also like some plands so the can chase amoungst the bases apparently.

they like to dig themselves into the substrate and are good for moving it about like sand they remind me of worms i think two would be fine in a ten gal they are small. prolly worth an inch and a half each at most.

I've heard that you need to get at least 10 before you see them regularly, I have 4 and never see them, good luck, though they are lovely and well worth it when you do see them. (makes it a bit special, ......Oh look there's a khuli loach...... sort of thing).

I have 3 and I see at least one every time I look at my tank!
