I have 2 of the striped/banded kuhli loaches that are full of, what I believe to be, eggs. Is there any reason for me to think they may actually have babies or do they all do this from time-to-time? What should I do?
Thanks!

ETA: there are a total of 6 kuhlis, only 2 have eggs.

I breed them about 10 years ago, females are big fish getting to 4 inch plus in size. The female gets very fat then ripe with eggs.

The belly goe's a greeny colour as the eggs are bright green in these fish.

It's easy enough to get egg laden females, but getting them to spawn or any fry to survive is another matter completely.

Yes very difficualy i got them to spawn in 1997 and had 100's of floating eggs which sank after a while (dont know how long as i missed the spawning).

But the eggs never hatched. You need good males, to sex a true male u need to look at the pectoral fin, and the seconed ray is thicker than on females.
