khulies are great fish, having lots of places to hide for them is a must.
what substrate do you have? they prefer larger gravel 8mm and above or loose sand like pool filter sand (not playsand)
BTW khulies are best kept in groups of 4 or more.

its like a natural substrate it should be ok if i got 3 would there be enogh room in the tank with the tank 2 not be over crowded yayayayayayayay i hope i get 1

if i cant do those can i do say...3zebra danios i red that stuff on ur webby and there soo cool (ur website has way way to much spam and popups!!!)

Dont bother with the khuli loaches. Unless you get lots of them they are not active.

And as for Bala sharks in a 60L tank... rediculous.... You will have to take them back very soon or get a new tank.

Dude,

how big are the sharks, you could sell em back to your local fish store for a profit :)

If they are not too big (2 - 3inches) you could hold out till you can get a bigger tank.

I still like the Idea of the loaches though

$%^& $%^ #$%$@# %@% i talked 2 my dad he wont let me get rid off them grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that pisses me off he doesnt care no matter wat i say i just dont wont them to get hurt there fairly big i just want them happy

If you dont get rid of them you are punishing them in such a small tank. And Balas are very sensitive fish, they will no doubt die if you dont relocate them.

How big are they??????????????????????

Send him the link to this discussion.

You will definately get stunted fish. This is when the skin stops growing on the outside but the organs continue to grow. The best you can do if he wont budge is to make sure you do a 15% water change every week.

also check this out, I asked a simular question on another forum

Hey,

I read your signature, and I'm really sorry to say that zebra danios will not be an option for your tank. Zebra danios have to be kept in larger groups (6+) to keep the 'aggression' down. Zebra danios when in a smaller group will nip eachothers fins and stress eachother + other fish out immensily. Zebra danios are however great fish to have! In a 60L tank though, once you get 6 of them though, there wont be much else you can add.

I agree don't go with the danio 's. I think the loach would be great. I have only one but the little thing loves to curl around my thermometer and lay in the floating plant even with the light on. (I thought the thing was dead at first!) I know this isn't typical but non of my fish ever "do" what they are supposed to do? Tell your dad to go in the closet and stay there the rest of his life, cuz that is what he is telling the sharks. Why did he say no to getting rid of them ?
