Kuhli Loach Question?

I know clowns play dead - I experienced that many times in my previous tank with my old clown loach. But do Kuhli loaches play dead??

I woke up this morning to a floating kuhli loach in my tank. I've had the three of them for about 1 week now, and the pet store guarantees 15 days/money back. So I went to scoop out the floater, and it freaked out and swam down under one of the decorations in the tank.

Is this normal for a Kuhli? I'm not very familiar with them yet, and it's the first that I've seen this happen. Or is this one perhaps ill and not going to make it, but not yet ready to give up the fight??

Not sure but when I had 3 yo yo loaches they liked to play dead.
