pics of the kribs :wub: .......2 lots of eggs (I think -_- they're not good at sharing and hide themselves in the kastle) but no babies yet

here's the little female ....still only babies :wub: (am still trying to get a good pic of the male :rolleyes: he's not posing for pics tonight)

Ok....I am confused, I always thought the females were the ones without the red belly....... :unsure:
I WAS MISINFORMED!!!!! THAT GUY IS DEAD!!!!!!

Females have a red under belly when breeding or in breeding condition.
 
here's the Mr........he is a lovely pearl colour - though he has a lovely rosy glow to his belly area right now

:D kribs = kribensis pelvicachromis pulcher - they are a dwarf cichlid with a relatively mild temperament till they are breeding or guarding fry........and they're :wub: lovely
 
FM~ both the male and female can have the red belly, but its usually the female from what i've seen
suemack~gorgeous fish :wub: and good luck with the babies!

o i forgot i 2nd the nomination for FOTM!
 
I say fotm but I like the last one, they look so happy together :wub:
