I've had quite a few Kribs, they're my favorite cichlids so far. Once they get used to their surroundings they are quite beautiful. I've found that giving the kribs places to hide (caves, vegetation) and feeding them a varied diet does much to improve their colors. Having a dark substrate on the bottom helps too.
