Hey guys, I've had this one female krib for a while now, about a few months, and she has already laid eggs once. There was no male though, so unfortunately they just got fungus. Well, I'm pretty sure she laid eggs again, but there is a male this time! She is guarding this one coconut cave, rarely leaving it, and if she does, it's just to check on how things are going outside of the cave; she goes right back in again. The only problem is, I don't think this batch of eggs is fertilized either - The male is quite a bit smaller than her, and she violently chased him away until today. Now she's letting him somewhat near her, (though still chasing him away from time to time) and even displaying for him. Will she let him fertilize her eggs, or are they a pair already? I've seen the male chase a couple fish away from that one cave a couple times already.

Thanks in advance,

Just wait it out. There is no advice that I can give you that will quench your thirst for information. Wait and see is all I can tell.

Haha, thanks. I guess I knew that, just a dumb question. She's still in the cave, and is coming out less often now.
