Hi all my first post here. I'm not quite new to fish keeping but I recently got some mystery snails for the first time. Having never kept snails before. My female Kribensis has taken to harassing the snails and today she started nipping the snails antenna. How can this be managed or should I just remove the snails for their safety. Thanks in advance regards Aqua John.

Not sure about the fish with the snails I've never kept that type of fish before. I do have myserty snails but the fish I have with them not bother them. If the fish is always bothering the snails it could injure them or even kill them due to stress.

Hello. Cichlids are aggressive no matter what size you hove. They'll attack anything that they think is coming into their territory. I think the snails will move inside their shell if they're attacked, so I wouldn't worry about it. The Kribs will likely get used to the snails and eventually leave them alone. Just keep up with your water changes.
