Koi Pond

hi my pond is 3 1/2 foot deep but ive lost 1/2 foot of water due to a leaking pipe should i top up or leave it until the weather picks up a bit cause the weather in st,helens is freezing realy need some advise as i am still wet behind the ears when it comes to keeping koi

if you can run a hose in then top it up as the deeper the water the better for your fish to survive...a pond should ideally be around 4 foot deep for koi
