koi moved house!!

Went and fed the ponds and realised the Shirio utsuri koi came up to feed in the wrong pond!!

it must of travelled down the water water fall at some point in the past day.

It seems very happy as it usually doesn't even come up to feed while i'm around.

what should I do?

leave him down there and let it be..
move the other koi down there with him and shift some goldfish up top.....

or something completely different?

Yeah with a waterfall that is always likely, if he is small leave him there but if th other pond is bigger the Koi are best in there in the long term.

The pond he travelled to is the bigger.

didn't think they would be stupid enough to get taken down the water fall .

i think i'll move all the koi downstairs and the albino grass carp and keep the sarasa comets down there and rudd then move all goldfish up top.

as the bottom pond is alot more accessible now to see the fish as i made a net holder for other the top (see DIY section)

excellent went to the shop today and the guy spotted a soragoi at one of the other branches so he brought it down to his and kept it a side for me. it's also looking after it fro another week so it's 2 weeks after treament we introduce new fish!!

it was a small one.. 2-3inch, was this merky silvery colour, think he said something about it being gin, oh which is silver mettalic according to me book!!

we'll get another 1/2 at the same time to replace the other koi that died . Might see if we can buy a the next size up and get the soragoi free!! so spend tenner on the big then the small 5squid free
