Knife Fish

How do you go about caring for a black knife fish. (If they is such thing as a BLACK knife fish) My lfs has a couple of knife fish in a freshwater planted tank. They look really neat. I have a few 20 gallons laying about. Could I put a pair in the 20 gallon? Or just one? Or none at all. What kinds of things do these fish need, what do they eat? Thanks,

when they are small you could get them into a 20 gallon but you will definatly have to get one alot bigger.

Thanks! they're about 4 inches right now. How big do they get? Can I have just 1 in my 20 gallon? What kind of tank mates do they like? If any.

no I didnt get one... I think that they are awsome but I think that it would bee too hard for the average hobiest to keep.
