-_- HI I HAVE TWO KISSERS, ONE IS BIGGER THAN THE OTHER, THE SMALLER ONE IS CHASED WHEN IT'S NOT HIDING AND IT HIDES 75% OF THE TIME
ANY HELP PLEASE?

I've noticed it's pretty common for a bigger Kisser to get aggressive with a smaller one, especially if they are both males. You might want to seperate these 2. It can get pretty bad, and you don't want the little guy getting hurt.

Sometimes what can help, is adding more plants and rocks, and caves and such, so they can establish their own territories. I personally have had to keep most of my Kissers seperate from each other, because of their aggression. They are all fine to get along with other fish though..including little fish, like Neons and such. Strange Fish. -_-

Also, you're aware Kissers get pretty big..8-9", right? :)

They also become more aggressive/territorial as they mature and, for 2, you need a pretty big tank (at least 30 gallons but a little more prefferably). I don't know what size yours is, but you may have to look at either spliting the two into diferent tanks or taking one or both back to your LFS altogether. I also agree that adding more hiding places etc might help as it will create more possible territories and split the tank up a bit so the two fish clash less. However, in a tank that's too small (what size is yours?) this won't make a difference. How big are these two fish BTW? Do they both eat well? If the one that is always hiding cannot eat because of aggression, you realy need to seperate it. Also, like Anna said, things could get worse if you don't take action quickly.

With all due respect Sylvia, I must disagree. I am looking at Angel (My Kisser..she's 9") and I just can't see her and another Gourami in a 30. If there was any problem with aggression, they couldn't get away from each other. And they are pretty active...so just not enough room for them to both swim and frisk without bumping into each other. :p

I can see keeping one in there as a lifetime home. They seem to be quite happy when they have that space. :)

:dunno: i've got the tank full to the brim with plants and rocks

Then you'll need to probably seperate them. Or give them a bigger tank.

What tank size are they in? And what fish?

the tank is 60 litres and there are some tetra, danios and catfish other than the kissers

i will move them to my other tank which is a custom one twice the size

Could I possibly ask what other fish are in the tank you plan to mvoe them into?
