Kio angel

In a magazine i was reading i saw something about these new angel fish that live in ponds and have the colors like a kio. Are they real, if they are can i hear about some expieriences

Heh, Koi Angelfish are just a colour variety of Angelfish that have colours like Koi:

And i'm not sure why you read they live in coldwater, but they sure don't!

I have a koi angelfish and she is totally tropical.

lol i thought they were a koi-angel hybrid when i first heard of them. I used to have one and through personal experience i believe they have much weaker immune systems than say a marble. Mine was extremely sensitive compared to my other angels.

After reading this again maybe you read about a specific project. Maybe someone who had a tropical pond filled with kio angels?

Heh, thats a good excuse to still be able to have Koi and have clear water! Though i can't imagine it would matter in a pond

I would imagine if you spend the money on making a pond tropical you would want the water to be crystal clear. Well at least where i am where the pond water gets way below tropical tempatures in the winter. To think about it it's even below tropical in the spring. If i were to pay heating for that i would want to be able to drink the water.
