-_- Does this fish look 2.5 months old to you?

SRC, it's hard to say because it seems like so many of the Thai breeders fish are much larger than American breeders at an earlier age. I wouldn't think so because the length of his rays, but I don't know when your talking about Thai fish. I don't know of any other ways to tell. Anyone else?

I dunno, I think the overseas breeders exaggerate the ages a bit. I've never had a crown at full ray like that until it was around four months old, even older. Only my opinion though.

He doesn't look very old, even if he isn't that young... maybe I'm missing the point, but I don't see what the difference is if he happens to be a couple of months older than advertised :dunno:

Because Betta's don't live very long...usually 3 yrs max ..and that one looks full grown to me.

I like buying from seller's who disclose the truth to me, not ones who skip around the truth. If the fish is older...why are they not saying that...it just makes me wonder if something is up.

It's like me going to a gas station and I think I am buying Chevron gas, but it turns out they were out and they subsituted Shell brand instead. I just like to know what I am getting lol.

I think I found another fish I like better anyways.
