hi i got some kinni eggs in peat and put them in a shallow tupawere box as instructed can anybody tell me how long they take to hatch

Depends on which killi eggs you bought, but please note that you should also have an airline pumping a little air into the tub, not a lot just a bubble every few seconds just to aerate the water, are you keeping the tub warm as well ?

Nice fish, check out the following sites which should help you a little.
These aren't recond to be a good starter fish but the eggs need to be incubated for at least 2/3 weeks, and you should be able to see the little eyes in the eggs before even attempting to wet the peat.

As I'm not sure how old your eggs are I can only presume that the seller told you that they would be ready for wetting now, if not there should be no problem but I would try to find an egg and check it out as per the website I've given you a link to ?

Good luck and I hope you have a few viable eggs and fry.

You'll have to post pics when they start colouring up, I've got some Riv eggs currently hatching (1st time for me so I'm really looking forward to seeing how many males I get and if they look as much like their dad who is a lovely olive/yellow colour).
