Killer Fish

I have a glass fish that killed my algae shrimp last night with in seconeds do glass fish have a nasty streak in them .I bought them together at the some time about 6 weeks ago

this is a pretty elderly topic but anyways...

its not that glass catfish are "mean" or "killers", but the fact that they're predators. most fish will eat smaller weaker critters such as algae shrimp if given half a chance.

It was 100% definitely a glass fish and it died the next day after the fight with the shrimp
