hey peeps, :) caught my khuli's doing something wierd yesterday. there were 2 of the 6 i have, seemingly locked at the mouth and twirling around each other, this lasted for maybe 7-8 seconds, then they 'unlocked' and went about lazing on the gravel and draping themselves over plants. anyone else seen this behaviour before, and if so what does it mean?

Lots and lots of fish test each other's strength by jaw-locking. It can be either a wrestle over dominance or a prelude to spawning.

It's nothing to worry about, unless it seems to be affecting the smaller/weaker of the fish, but I can't see that happening with kuhlis! My male tiger barbs do it all the time :)
