kh levels where should they be ?

I have a heavily planted tank I'm wondering where my kh levels should be right now there at 80 but i have heard the perfect level is around 120 is this correct ? does anyone have any feed back on this matter ?

If your tank (plants and fish) is healthy then you are at the "perfect" level now. In attempting to reach a specific KH you run the risk of upsetting the balance that the tank currently enjoys. As long as the PH is stable and all life in the tankis thriving then why shoot for some "perfect" level. I will generally not mess with a stable environment unless it is required for specific breeding conditions and even then once the breeding is complete i will let the tank drift back to its own stable level.
