for more info, they grow to 3 cm and mine are so friendly, they come up to greet me all the time!

EDIT: ^ not very..much info is it lol, but as far as i know this is the first time i saw them and i think they are acually "rare"

Actually, I think that's a croaking gourami, not sparkling. They grow quite a bit larger than sparkling gouramis. If I could see another picture that would help, or you could just tell me if the tail is pointed or round. Either way, they're wonderful fish, I have some of both and I love them. Great pics!

you have some too!!! cute lil guys arn't they, and do they have to be kept in a shoal? i only have 4 in a 55 gallon tank, little fish in a big tank

Ok, it was just the angle in the first picture - they are Sparkling. Croaking gouramis have pointed tails. If you could get more, that would probably be nice, but it's not necessary. They're not shoaling fish, but enjoy others of their kind. They might be fine with four. I love them.

yea they are so tiny! i wish i can breed them...are they easy to?

O geez. No, they're not easy to breed. Figures, right? They are bubble nesters and have extremely extremely tiny fry that require some of the most specialized care and smallest live foods like infusoria.
