Kenya Tree

Hello to all.
Im a new member and looking forward to interacting with other saltwater newbies. I have had a 20gal reef tank going for about 6-7 months, going in totally blind on saltwater, I have been pretty lucky so far with only one case of ick. I have live rock and sand,3Lg snails and about 10 crabs,3 different color legs?. a cute little puffer,a cora beauty and a little
nemo (clown)
1 leather cabage,hairy muchroom and red purple,green muchrooms,one flower anenamie and 5or6 different soft corals.and one kenya tree.
Everything looks well and happy except the kenya tree. have had it for 4 months and it has done fine till about 3 days ago, it closed up tight and instead of being a nice pink color it has turned like a grey color.
Would greatly apprec. any help and advice as I would hate to loose the little guy,Ive gonna attached to all these little buggers.

Hi and welcome this would be better in the saltwater section but im sure a mod will kindly move this soon.

Im no expert on kenya trees but sounds as if it is shedding or is sulking it should perk back up in the next week or two.

If its shedding I believe that there will be some kind of a film/slime on it.
