Hi - have closed down my 3ft aquarium this week and in the process of cleaning it all out ready to sell.
I have moved house and upgraded to a larger tank and do not have the room for this 3 ft tank aswell, so sadly I have to let it go.
I have had the tank many years but never had any problems at all with it. In fact I love it and hate to see it go! I have no idea what the make of it is, though. There was a clear sticker on it at some point but my daughter peeled that off. I bought it from Fin King Aquatics in South London. Wasn't cheap at the time - I know that much!
Anyway, here is a description of what is on offer:
Tank measurements: 36" length - 15" high - 13" depth
NO LIGHT UNIT (I decided to keep this and use it on my 4ft tank that came without a proper light unit). Sorry!
There is a flat hood - it has a strip of glass in the centre (the light unit used to sit on this) - but I don't know if they still sell that type of light unit any more so you may just be better off buying a complete new hood (I have seen some online for a 3ft tank less than £30) or use a suspended light system.
Stand: Glossy Black metal (extremely sturdy) with a scroll design to the front. This is a DOUBLE stand - so you can have the 3ft above and then have either another 3ft below, or a mix of other tanks (I had a 2ft and a 1ft below), or you could have 3 x 1ft tanks (great for Betta keepers!). Flat hoods or sliding glass hoods are better for gaining access when cleaning the bottom tanks.
Looking for offers in the region of £120ish for the set.
I live in Herne Bay - collection preferred, although we can deliver within a few miles radius for cost of petrol.
