I moved a number of my Apple snails to an outside tank which gets about 5 hours of direct sunlight per day.... I supplement their feeding with baby marrows (which they seem to like...)... and then also supplement with crushed flakes...

They have a vast temperature fluctuation between day and night, (ranging from 32 to around 17 degrees C ) ..... They seem to be fine,.... but the water remains murky and turns green very fast after water changes, which I do once per week.... (80%)..... Their growth rate increased since moving them outside.

They're so adorable and huge! X)
I keep wondering if it would be better to feed mine in a separate container so that the fish won't mess with their food. A swordtail keeps trying to eat their carrots, and as for giving them flakes in the tank, not a chance. Any flake will get eaten immediately by the fish.
