Hi Guys I have black widow tetras & Colombian Redfin, guppies and platys, 2 clowns & a plec can I keep angel fish or a betta with them please.

We need to know height x length x width...

Hi it is a fluval 33 UK gallon

I have the same tank as you - I have one angel but really the height of the tank is pushing it in terms of suitability (they can get to 10 inches tall), hence why I have just purchased a tank that is two foot high.

So, you could have ONE in there, but i's not ideal.

I would look to increas the numbes of our tetra first - basically all tetras should be in groups of 6+ at the bare minimum as they schola in vast numbers in the wild, and can suffer if not kept with many of their own species.

Hi Guys my tank is 80cm wide x 45cm high by 35Depth

I have 5 black widows & 5 redfin teras 5 male guppies. I have always wanted an angel fish or even a betta male as they are beautiful.

I don't know about angels but I wouldn't keep a betta with those tetras. Too much risk of nipping for my liking. Oh and of course bettas with guppies are usually considered a complete no-no.

Thanks guys - I am gutted didn't have a big enough tank before 125 litre so got tetras first. Will have to think of some other beautiful coloured fish any body got any glo-fish I like those

Theres plenty of other fish which look great. Wish there was "dwarf angelfish" :)

Where do you live?

Glo-fish are genetically modified and can be illegal to keep in some countries

Yea you wont be able to legally acquire them. I also live in the UK, thought they were quirky and interesting so I have done a bit of research. Seems like a few might have popped up, but they are not legal to own/sell/import (not sure which step(s) are illegal)

What about a Bolivian ram?
