i have 4 platies right now, 2 regular... and 2 mickey mouse

i want to have about 4 regular in my 46 when its ready, but i feel really bad having to give away my mickeys.

i still have a 10g, but i was going to keep it just for the fry, until they get bigger.
and each time my platy was pregnant, i would move her to the 10g.

however, if i keep the 2 mickeys, (ones male, and ones female), they would most of the fry in the 10g from the other platy, plus their own, and i wouldnt be able to raise fry.

what should i do? i wanna keep the mickeys, but there is no where to put them....
and no, im not getting anothe tank, lol

You could get a 5 gallon for the mickeys. They aren't that much and it could double as a hospital tank if you decide to put the platies else-where later.

oops..didn't read that last part :*)

How about housing the mickeys in the 10 gallon, to keep it cycled. Then, when you need it for fry, temporarily put the two mickeys in the main tank, and put them back when your fry are grown?
