Hi,
Have setup my V Large tank been cycling for weeks now with all the rock etc..... levels are as follows: ph 8.5, Ammo 0, Nitrate 0, Nitrite 0.1, Phos 5 (lots of Algae hence buying the cleanup crew) Iron 0, Calc 415, Kh 160 dropping daily, Salinity 1.022. The system is 1000ltrs with 65kg of rock and 6ft sump system bio media, trickle tower, frags with caleurpa, skimer and pads to keep it filtered.
On introducing the cleanup crew I drip acclimatised them for 7 hrs putting at least 5 times the original water in, Turbos Hermits and Sandsifters are busy doing there jobs, marvellous, however the shrimp die of within 10-15mins of being in tank or at least overnight.
The only thing I can figure is the fact that are being introduced when the lights (metal halides) are on and shocking them. Would introduction at night (moon spots) be better to settle in?
Any advice would be greatly received.
Regards
