as some of you know i currently have a juwel rio 180, what always appealed to me was the aesthetics of the aquarium married to the matching stand and the built-in filtration/heating system took the guess work etc out of the equation for me.
i'm now toying with upgrading to a larger aquarium to (probably) house a few discus and tetra shoal, still not 100% on stocking as yet though. the juwel rio 400 seems like the logical upgrade for me although it's not exactly cheap especially if i go with the matching stand. as far as the actual construction of a juwel aquarium goes (quality of materials etc) is a juwel aquarium head and shoulders above the likes of clearseal? going down the route of buying separates appeals as it might work out cheaper (?) but i wouldn't want to massively sacrifice quality just to save a few £/$.
can any of you offer any advice? are there makes cheaper than juwel that offer comparible quality? it doesn't need to be an 'all-in-one' i'm happy enough to go down the separates route if need be.
