Hi

I looked inside my jewel filter today after a day! and I found a shrimp in there!! I could not catch it and its swam downward so thats one shimp lost!!

So looking were they could get in I noticed how B***dy large the hole is around the outlet pipe dont juwel realise small fish exsist!

So I basically cut a hole in a large sucktion cup placed it over the outlet pipe and wedged the thing back on SORTED!! its reduced the hum a little
too! :shifty: :good:

THE FIX ALL DONE!

You've just made me get up and check mine :p

I've got the gap in my Vision 180, but it looks too small for my Anamo to fit through, but i'm going to fix it before i get any smaller shrimp in the big tank.

Thanks for the idea to fix it :good:

Cracking idea.

I used to stuff filter wool around the outlet but your idea is great.

I used to find my bumble bee gobies in the filter housing and when I had a female betta in my rekord 120 I found it in there dead :-(

I salute your DIY skills :good:
