Juwel Rio 400 Light Problem

Got my Juwel Rio 400 about 5 months ago and the lights have just went out about 10 minutes ago. Checked incase plug was loose and tried to switch back on. 1 tube sort of tries to come on but the goes straight back out and the other just does not respond at all. How long do they usually last. Do I need to buy a replacement already?

Does sound like the bulbs but 5 months? does your unit have the starters in? it could be one of those.

I had mine play up a few weeks back, there is a thread lower down in this section if you want to have a look.

I took unscrewed them and cleaned them up a bit, then put them back in and hey presto, they worked. Try cleaning the connections up a bit and see if that helps.

if it has a red sticker on underneath take it to a LFS as they are fault imports from china and demand and new one
