Hi there,

We have a Juwel Rio 240 and were wondering if the internal filters can be moved from their original back right of the tank to the back left.

I am uessing they can but don't want to start pulling it about unneccesarily, it has only just been installed and there are no fish so I just wanted to know if it is possible and how to go about it.

thanks,
Rich.

The internals can be moved but it would be the wrong way round on tho other side.
They come loose with a little gentle persuasion and can be siliconed wherever you want them.

There universal and will fit on both sides, Its only the small end of the record market (ie record 60) that arnt.

What you have to do is drop the water level of your tank and carefull cut through 5 blobs of silicone with a sharp knife, be carefull you dont want to stab the glass.
Then make sure the other side is clean and dry and resilicone in the same way, with aquarim safe silicone (there is a hole in the other sid efor the filter outlet to come through).

Yep,

Seen it done in a Rio 400. Two jumbo H's in either corner for some messy big cichlids. Its easy apparently.
