Juwel Rio 180 Tubes

Hi all,

I currently have a rio 180 with 2 tubes. They are the standard ones supplied with the tank and are 30W's each I think. My question is I'm looking to get some tubes that give a purple glow in the tank (almost like a UV effect) although I'm not sure if UV is the right term to use. I like the look of these tubes as they still present viewing pleasure while making the fish feel more secure and display their normal behaviours.

Is anyone able to point me to where I can buy this type of tube? thanks

are the bulbs an inch in diameter? if so you're in luck, any T8 tube, that is of the same wattage as the ones currently fitted will do fine, you'll want something around 18000-20000 Kelvin.
