Hi I have a 600 internal pump which came with my Rio 180 Tank I have had the tank running for 8 weeks with no problems. But now my pump is making a loud vibrating noise, I have took the pump apart but as I am new to this I do not really know what I am looking for, impeller all looks good, I have been told that the magnet maybe the problem, but I would appreciate any help you could give me into sorting my headache out. Many Thanks in advance. ihmix

In my rio 125, i thought my pump was making a noise, but it was just because the heater was in one of the side inlets next to the filter housing and was vibrating off the pump. Maybe this is the same for you?

Have looked at your suggestion but can not fit the heater down the remaining shaft way to tight plus there is nowhere to hook the heater. I also took heater out of the filter box and the noise continues. have only had pump running for 8 weeks, what are my chances of getting a replacement. Cheers.

This is a common problem.

Juwel filters are noisy. There is no getting away from it. If you are sensitive to noise, then the rumbling from the Juwel powerhead will drive you mad. Does the noise decrease if you open the lid?
