Hi,
Can I use the juwel filter system and heater/stat that is already resident in the setup for saltwater use.
Secondly if I add a Maxijet 1200 Powerhead (alongside the above) is this ample for water movement.
Lastly what lighting can I use given the constraints of the setup.

For filter, you can use it especially for the powerhead, but I'd remove man-made media like filterfloss or something like that. If you want to use any media at all, use crushed live rock, or leave it open to running carbon or phosphate remover should the need arise.

As for lighting, the length at just under 24" leaves you with some options.

Power Compact 65watt (21")
Power Compact 36watt(18")

T5HO flourescent 15watt (18")

I'd probably go with two compact 65watt tubes if you can fit them. You'll need to install fans in the hood somewhere/somehow as well, but they will give you the most lighting for your corals by far. Go with a mix of actinic and 10000k (daylight) tubes.
