Juwel Pump Replacement Parts

Hi everyone

I have two Juwel Rio 180's that are around 10 years old. I've had a problem recently with the rubber pump socket on both where it has vibrated over time and turned the rubber solid and as a result the pump's aren't working quiet as they should. I have managed to find one shop in Plymouth that has the parts i need and have bought one at £9.55.

Can anyone point me in a direction where i might be able to get them a little cheaper? i know Juwel doen't seem the make this style pump any more

have you tried ebay, i got a full juwel filter including pump for £5 on there the pump alone retails at £40+

That's brilliant, I'll phone them up and maybe take a trip into Paignton to get one from their shop if they sell them for the same price in store!

sorry i didn't make it clear i bought one that price for a tank my cousin sold me that had the filter missing, a lot of people don't like juwel filter and take them out as soon as they get the tank so they are often found on ebay cheap. I never had a problem with them so was glad to find it so cheap

Oooh okay! Don't worry, it'll teach me to read posts a little better lol I've never any problems with the filter but might buy a couple fluvals or something in readyness of when they show signs of giving up.
