Juwel Lighting units

Has anyone ever seen, done or heard anyone else having put a second 'original fit' lighting unit onto a Juwel tank to increase the number of bulbs to four? I fancy trying it but was wondering if anyone else had any experience first?

I had 4 tubes in my rio 300 by drilling holes through the two lids either side of the light strip and bolting the arcadia plastic clips to them. It made the lid a little fiddly to open as you have to ensure that the wires to the front tube are free to move forward as the lid goes up but it was a lot cheaper than buying the expansion package from juwel at £80.

Apparently Juwel cater for this, you can buy another light unit and they also do another set of lids and a little centre lid panel so you can have 4 bulbs & front and back lift-up lids and it all covered neatly. I'm thinking about going down this route myself, so if you do it let me know!

Thanks but I'm going for a replacement made by Arcadia. It's a new light unit that holds 2 T5 bulbs instead. I think this will be better than 4 standard Juwel bulbs?
