Hi guys,
I recently came back from holiday to find my lights not working, so.. I did the usual, changed the fuse, nothing...
Realised my "night" bulb had blown, so I went 2 days ago and purchased a new bulb (£20..) ouch.
Replaced, all worked fine.... I then had a non-working bulb the same evening, tapped the unit and it came on... thought perhaps a dodgy connection but left it at that.
Anyway, since yesterday my fish have been again without light, I looked at the unit and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but I hear that my "Night" bulb sounds as if it's blown again.... (small bits inside it moving)...
Why would it do this?! £20 seems waste... I am going to contact my LFS tomorrow where I got the bulb, but it seems very strange... perhaps a fault with the lid? The Tanks under a year old too (purchased April)...
