Help.

The filter pump has just stopped working. No flow happening in my tank. It's all just stopped.

What can I do, anything? Am I going to lose all the fish!?

Test water and do a water change, do you have an airstone for extra aeration, plus don't feed fish till you get a new filter , say tommorrow, good luck.

Thanks Wilder- Luckily I just changed their water. Unluckily I noticed the flow had gone after I fed them as the food was not moving. Even worse as one of the neons was showing early signs of mouth fungus I have put medication in there. So I might lose my fish.

This tank is about 3 months old and I can tell you now, I am pretty furious about the damn filter. If I lose my fish I will be complaining sharpish. This is ridiculous.

Give it a bang on the side where the tube is see the muck come out is it a juwel

Remove the tube that goes up, run that under tap to get the muck out, then the little tube that attaches bang in on the kitchen surface it will release the muck, juwel filters are crap i would buy a back up filter as i have them in my tanks.

Which juwel is it as i have the rekord 60 and 120.

This ones the rekord 60. USELESS!

I cleaned out the pipe, nothing. I hear a hum but I guess that's the heater. I've ruined my carpet, filthyed my bathroom, and I am in a serious bad temper.

Will this not be a disaster anyway? Immature filter in a mature tank etc..?

Worried sick! :(

Sorry i no how you feel, forever sorting filters out, send you mad at times, right do you have a friend with any spare equipment, no airstone then, remove hood, do you have cling film but when you put it on tight, peice hundred of holes in it with something in the house, as they will suffocate if not.

they come apart easily just take it apart and clean it all using toothbrush this happened to me a while back and i just needed to clean it hope this helps mate

Sorry forgot to mention if you have any cats keep them out of the room for the night, if you go for the cling film method don't want them landing in the tank with the fish.
