Hi, of the juvenile multies I got from Lisa the two largest are obviously the ones I see the most. One is slightly smaller than the other but it is the smaller that has begun getting stripes now while the larger one is still a solid silver. What are the chances that this one will be female and the other male? Would it be the female that gets stripes at a smaller size due to the smaller adult size? Just wondering really what this might signify, if anything!

I`m not sure that the markings have any significance to the sex of the multies to be honest, I think it`s just a sign of them maturing. From all of the breeding articles I`ve read so far the only real signs of being able to sex them is the size between them

Sorry I can`t be much help, I just leave mine to it and 'what will be will be' as they say ;)

Thanks lisa, I was just curious so I'll see what happens.
