i am just wondering how many fish i can keep in a 125l/33g, as i need to get my stocking list together so i can do lots of reasearch.

okay, thanks thought it was about that.
since im doing it skimmerless this doesnt change anything does it?

You can get cheap skimmers for tanks your size, Boyu make cheap ones, they're not brilliant but better than nothing, loads of them on ebay from Hong Kong

I agree, ran one on my orca 550, did quite a good job actually considering how much it cost. I also agree on the fish stocking level, although wouldnt want to go above five smallish fish - this is starting to become a habit :p

Yes, if you skim heavily and do good water changes you can stock more, however new salts should stay away from this and stock lightly as you said :good:

i wont go woody mad dont worry
max 6 fish i think ill go, as there a some cool inverts i wanna get too

so without a skimmer i could still have 5-6 fish

With weekly water changes of 20% then I would be going for five smallish fish, with or without a skimmer

im gonna change about 25l a week, not sure what % that is

25 Litres is 20% of 125 Litres

Shrimp etc count as clean up crew and they tend to eat detritus and left over food, so do not county as fish.

okay, thanks for that.
think im getting a good idea in my head
